We are just down from Bishops Hill at the town end of Felixstowe Road, about 200 metres from the new university building. If coming from outside Ipswich, rather than negotiate Ipswich Centre, it's maybe worth going to the A14 Jn. 57 & the 2.5 miles via Felixstowe Road — as below … Jn. 57 is the first junction going East after Orwell Bridge towards Felixstowe or the last junction going West before Orwell Bridge coming from Felixstowe • At Junction 57, exit towards Nacton Road (A1189) • Follow signs A1189 / Nacton Road towards Ipswich Town Centre, taking 2nd exit at Ravenswood roundabout along Nacton Road - past shopping parade / industrial area / mini-roundabout / shops — for about 2.5 miles • Nacton Road joins Felixstowe Road (A1156) at an acute angle — make a slight left at the top of Bishops Hill • we are on r.h.s. ¹/3 of a mile down the hill - our car park may be fuller than usual due to performer's vehicles |
